Can you explain why the prices of plastic pallets fluctuate?
The specialized resin that is used to produce reusable plastic pallets is an oil based product. As the price of oil waxes and wanes, so does the price of a new plastic pallet.
Why are there so many black pallets?
A large number of newly manufactured black or gray pallets are produced from a percentage of recycled plastic materials, giving a pallet its darker hue. Some reusable plastic pallets
may be found to be made from up to 100% recycled plastics, but it is still fully possible to find at least a few black plastic pallets that are fabricated from virgin materials.
Why are reusable plastic pallets in a variety of colors more expensive?
To get a reusable plastic pallet that is any color other than black, it is necessary to use virgin resin in the new pallet mold. This means that if you want a blue pallet, it will be necessary to purchase blue resin for the manufacturing of one pallet. The same is true for plastic pallets produced in red, yellow and green. Since most manufacturers do not regularly stock the different colors, there is a premium price attached for the purchase of the resin.
How do I know which pallet is correct for me?
That is a fantastic question! Believe it or not, there are a massive number of questions tied to the use of and purchase of reusable plastic pallets:

- How heavy is the load you intend to ship?
- What are the dimension of the load you intend to transport?
- How will you be moving the plastic pallet from point A to point B?
