48” x 45” was the only size available when collapsible bulk containers were introduced to the auto industry. The reusable bulk plastic containers were designed to optimize space utilization at all levels of car component manufacturing. Their relative size helped establish the cost effective nature of used collapsible containers and sparked the creation of several extra sizes. 48” x 45” used collapsible plastic containers are compatible with standard plastic pallets used by the grocery industry.
